This is my love letter to the swamplands. Where I grew up, the swamplands were the ecosystem that nourished my unruly childhood imagination. Returning to them as an adult was both beautiful and strange. This piece is a meditation on the experience of returning to a magical place from your past. To place that is in you, though you can no longer be in that place.
